I've recently quit a campaign that was ran by a friends girlfriend. Usually I'm the DM and it was nice to let someone else give it a go. However, we're talking about someone who never roleplayed, never altered voices, never thought strategically. Roll dice, get inebriated, pass out. Now, the boyfriend has a complex with kicking players out and bringing new players in mid-campaign.
This last time was the final straw, as I've spent thousands, actual thousands, to make my basement into a sort-of dungeon to play this game. However, now he has someone's boss wanting to play. The guy offered to buy a table, but going to his house to play the game is a slap in my face.
The worst thing is that I finally got to play instead of forever DM, made a character I actually love and it's completely wasted. At least I don't have to sit around while a bunch of people call for coke anymore though lol.
