Oh, man. Filling those Sunday afternoon hours was brutal. I learnt to bake bread. It takes a long time and requires patience.
It was starting to affect my career and my relationships, like my entire life was structured around drinking. I did hit a rock bottom where I had to take a hard look at my choices and realized I didn’t like where I was heading. It was so hard to admit it to myself.
It sounds cliche but you really have to fully want to get sober. Until your heart and mind are committed to the idea, it’ll never work. After that, don’t try to do it alone. Find others in recovery. Tell friends/family about your struggles. Reach out your hand for help. Someone will grab it.
Thank you! And all the love to your wife.
I’m not going to lie, this past year has been rough.
You can do it! Have faith in yourself!
Keep it up! You got this!
It’s pretty great.
I loved her “Get the net!” design so much.

Hell yeah. The Utah grid system is awesome. Streets are labeled East/West from State Street and North/South from Main Street. Looking for an address that’s 355 West 780 North? That’s three streets west of state and seven streets north of Main. Boom. Done. Missed your turn? Just take the next turn 3x and you’re there. Someone gives you a random address? You can figure out where it is immediately by recognizing what would be close. I mean, we get a lot of things wrong in Utah but our ancestors planned our cities out. PLUS, in SLC at least, our streets are wide AF. The idea was to be able to turn a horse drawn carriage around without unhitching it.
Everyone one I went to had lines out to the street.
What happened last night to make all the cars so dirty? The car washes are crammed full. It’s bonkers.

I love her channel!
JK, Kamora. 😉
That’s why I wasn’t too worried about getting it perfect. 😂
The thing I was afraid of was letting my family down or having them be ashamed of me. When they responded with only love and without judgment, it was a weight off and it let me fully focus on recovery.
