its a valid strat to try to get someone to go away. but once u realize it doesnt work theres really no point in trying anything else other than being indifferent at the least.
He legitimately seems to want to join the police department, I imagine he's trying to appreciate the need to be a tolerant person (especially when a camera is on him)
After watching a lot of James Freeman and seeing how those cops react to being on camera, I'd be happy if that guy was on the streets if he maintained that demeanor all the time. Obviously that isn't the only requirement to be a good cop, but that's a good sign.
Goddamn is that brand of nationalism so fucking weird. Like they honestly think it's offensive to people that they like the national anthem when the fetishist nature of it is what's weird
I feel like they all were kinda laughing at some of his responses. I mean the dude is funny and doesn't really come at you hard. Kinda interesting to watch in today's times that these guys didn't beat him up but kept it cool. Yea I'm sure the police nearby helped with that calmness lol
Hahah at first I was like βuh oh that dudes coming out of that van to kick that guys assβ but then he wasnβt even in good enough shape to exit the van. That was fucking gold.
Michael Picard (troll in the video) and his accomplice Shaffer Steve love to wear the flag as a cape, and βaccidentallyβ step on it during Trump rallies. It really drives people crazy.
Mike is a god tier troll. Heβs a staunch libertarian who once successfully sued a police department for $40k (maybe even more) for fabricating evidence against him.
Lately heβs been strictly trolling right wing folks because they give better reactions, but heβs also trolled Bernie rallies with βI want free shit 2020β signs, and also trolled a gun control march by dressing in an orange prison jumpsuit with the sign βrapists for gun controlβ.
If you care about the sanctity of the flag, absolutely. But they don't see it that way, because as far as they're concerned, their patriotism is assured, and they therefore have the right to skirt around the flag code they champion. Rules for thee and not for me.
Lol I was surprised at how civil they were. I know itβs a super small group but still. Iβm used to seeing them freak out when someone comes to troll. Tony was really reserved. I respect that.
They tried to take the camera and cover up the incident with the flags. After that failed, I think they realized he wasnβt going anywhere and tolerated it.

I like how they wanted a confrontation but then he just went with whatever accusation they made and they couldn't be bothered to follow up with their hatred lmao
This is key, his humor is to be a caricature or stereotype of the people he is making fun of. Apparently a lot of people don't realize this until its too late. They insult him and he laughs it off because they're only insulting themselves.
I did something similar with my reddit name a while back, but people thought I was serious about it lol. It works much better irl.
Check him out on YouTube. Dude wore a pig costume to a police support meeting lie this in a park. Even his buddy that came with got spooked and left. This guy is fearless.
I liked the fact that some of them knew who he was and played along with it instead of causing a confrontation that would really show them in a bad light.
Yeah before he goes to speak to the bike police he look kind of annoyed that the blue life matter people are not getting angry. At the end Tony looked like he was having fun and picard was hating it ahah
I'm always surprised when someone doesn't beat the crap out of him. Especially at the Trump rallies. He went to a Back the Blue rally in a pig costume. Thought for sure they would gang up on him and his buddy and work them over.
My neighbor seems like a nice enough person. She seems like the type of person that describes herself as a "country girl" and only likes guys that drive trucks and wear camo.
She flies a damn US flag that kinda morphs into a Confederate flag halfway. I want to just ask her why she flies it. What point is she trying to make because at this point you're definitely trying to make a point if you fly that flag. What is it though? That it's your heritage? What Confederate ideals and values are you using that flag to represent that the US flag itself doesn't already convey?
And all of them say it's not about slavery and it's not racist blah blah blah. Sure, fine, let's give you the benefit of the doubt. Nowadays most people will probably assume you're racist if they see you with that flag. So if you say it's not racist but most other people think you're racist because of it, why are you still flying it? The confederacy was squashed way before any of these people were alive. Why are they acting like they grew up in the Confederate south?
I absolutely adored one of my fellow white neighbours - she was all about volunteering at my food bank and just seemed so lovely. Then one day she said something about the refugees clogging up social supports and I could feel the colour draining out of my face but hey, you know what, maybe she is simply ignorant or misinformed and I can help her.
No. She is a racist. I had only seen her interact with other white people as my city is over 80% white. Then I took care to notice how she treated a vegetarian east indian family at our foodbank : she refused to replace their meat products with something else. I went over and said it was totally fine to do so, it is generally our policy to do it for those with unique diets. Afterwards she said "it's just that those types of people always go to every foodbank" implying they were brown and greedy.
A lot of them genuinely think it's their heritage. They identify not as American but Confederate American. They're so desperate to make themselves feel important the way they imagine people with actual heritage feel that they'll identify with something as gross as a literal slaver society. For some, the widespread opposition and anger to their chosen identity makes it even better, because then they can echo chamber themselves into believing they're an oppressed group. In a lot of ways, in their twisted minds, it mirrors the righteous struggle of actual oppressed groups like LGBT and minorities (and ironically they're the ones doing most of the oppressing of those groups, but don't expect them to make that connection).
Also they are lying to you and themselves if they say it's not about racism. It is, it always was, and always will be. You can't have "Confederate pride" without racism, it's pretty much their only core tenet. You might as well fly the Nazi flag and pretend it's not about anti-semitism. That's horse shit, and they know it, but they continue to lie to themselves and everyone to try to shift the narrative so they look like victims rather than loser bigots.
I live in North GA. So many versions of altered or combined flags. The craziest one I saw recently was an American flag but half way through it faded into a Confederate flag and in the middle it had the don't tread on me snake and....wait for it...a deer head. It was by far the most confusing thing I have ever seen. Edit: not to mention it was the size of a mini van.
It's the same people flying the rebel traitor's flag. Like we know this, but they will never know that. Even if you scream it at their face. They have to have at least one other brain cell to argue it out, and that's just unfeasible.
There are some other videos where heβs shoved around by trumpets/back the blues, has his flag ripped out of his hands, his sign stolen and broken, and has his phone knocked out of his hands. This one was the most tame reaction Iβve seen so far, but it was also the smallest group. I think in bigger groups people feel more bold to behave aggressively.
Yup the bigger a group the more Likely people are to think of themselves as the mob and act more aggressive from what a remember from a YouTube video Iβll try to se if I can find it.
Edit: I tried looking for the specific video but I think it was about a specific American protest back before the major 2020 ones so now it nearly impossible to find that specific one
He trolls both sides and you can find content of oblivious SJW and liberal types falling for his shit but for some reason Trump supporters and far right people dive neck deep really fast. For whatever reason people on the left most just ignore him or make small comments while people in the right feel a need to give him as much content as possible.
I normally hate on people who rip and reupload, but you're doing a great service by keeping us away from The Zucc. Thanks, and I hope this comment goes higher.
He and his buddy Steve Shaffer are AnCaps Anarcho-Capitalists. Basically they are against all social regulations and think the free market should determine everything. I think itβs idealistic and not even remotely possible. They really dislike both sides of the political divide, but have said the right wingers give the best reactions and are the easiest to provoke. Funny that the right wingers are the actual snowflakes.
I seen the video where he dressed in a pig costume (an actual pig not a cop) and had a sign saying "support the pigs" at a bigger rally than this. One guy got so pissed off at him he shouted "I hope your mom and sister get raped" in his face.
The crowd including women just sort of went "hey don't say that" and shrugged it off just because he was on their side.
Just for clarity, a pro-cop guy shouted in this protesters face that he hoped his mom and sister were raped and the crowd basically did nothing.
That told me everything I needed to know about these boot lickers.
At their core, these Blue Lives Matter/MAGA people are trolls. For that reason, when this guy rolls up they are totally disarmed and can't really combat it well. It's brilliant.
This is so much more effective than screeching at them and getting triggered, just counter-troll.
It's great because they can't win after that. They can either
Produce a long winded logical explanation with reasonable points at which point Tony will just say "okay" and still stand there making the person look like a fool for going through the effort to explain their position when tony was never going to move in the first place.
Get aggressive and look like a jackass thus producing content for Tony
Do what this guy did and say "because I said so" which makes you look like an idiot but at last you aren't feeding the troll
Honestly, I'm surprised this guy hasn't been hurt by these people. There is an undeniable amount of bravery in what this guy does. Even if you don't support his message, I think you've got to respect his courage.
This video honestly gave me some hope. It's nice to see how poorly attended the rally was, and compared to previous vids, people seem less aggressive and hateful. Even the organizer seemed to be sort of in on the joke by the end. Maybe humor like this is capable of bringing people together
Honestly this was probably the most wholesome freakout that Michael Picard as ever released. Regardless of their message, the people there definitely were more cordial than any other people he has dealt with lol. I lost it when the guy at the end joked about the heel giving them troubles.
Tony being sorta chill about this makes it even better to me. It's the best when you can disagree with someone but still be civil and cool to one another.
"Have you really got that flag on a hockey stick?" lol. This guy's pretty cold. There's a little bit of a Chris Eliot or Tom Green vibe but much sharper. Never not a fan of puncturing self-important gasbags.Very funny.
man i've been watching too much Your Mom's House b/c i immediately took this guy as a genuine boot licker, like the fetish boot licker people. this has a little bit of a different vibe. still neat though.
lmfao holy shit I have no idea who this is or what this is even fully about - but when the tony guy at the end is taping the flag to the pole and the dudes like "Youre a big guy you can do this you got this" "Shut the fuck up" "TONY! TONY! TONY!... Oh no he needs help"
It's more like he was using the cop to make fun of the demonstrators. His words were mocking the absurdity of the demonstrators, not the cops themselves

U-Haul getting some major free advertising. Call the cops, they got a steal!

This video honestly gave me some hope. It's nice to see how poorly attended the rally was, and compared to previous vids, people seem less aggressive and hateful. Even the organizer seemed to be sort of in on the joke by the end. Maybe humor like this is capable of bringing people together
Yeah he's not really hurting anyone, he's just calmly trolling them like a fucking artist.

βYouβre making yourself look like a foolβ
Iβll fit right in then-
delivered with the coldest stare ever. Someone give this man a medal or something
"You're definitely a sub then" πππππΎ
The officer at 6:00 was a good sport lmao
Imagine simping for the cops.
Honestly this was probably the most wholesome freakout that Michael Picard as ever released. Regardless of their message, the people there definitely were more cordial than any other people he has dealt with lol. I lost it when the guy at the end joked about the heel giving them troubles.
Roses are red violets are blue, cops beat their wives black and blue
Man's just rhymed blue with blue.
Roses are red, violets are blue, cops beat their wives and they'll beat you too.
Very nice.

Tony being sorta chill about this makes it even better to me. It's the best when you can disagree with someone but still be civil and cool to one another.
Ohh Jesus it's 11 minutes long.
I didnβt even realize until I was like 8 minutes in. It was pretty entertaining throughout its entirety
He looks like the sickly twin brother of Johnny Knoxville

Anything we disagree with...cover it up.
This dude reminds me of a future Gene Belcher.
"You're the worst because you're terrible."
Police supporters, ladies and gentlemen.
βDo you consider yourself a sub or a dom?β
βI donβt know what youβre talking aboutβ
βYouβre definitely a subβ. Lmaoooo
Wow just the cunt asking if he is Muslim then saying does my hair offend you shows how fucking stupid and ignorant that women is π€¦π»ββοΈπ€¬

βiβll fit right in then!βπ₯β οΈ
Why am I not surprised this rally was in Taunton? So many thinly veiled bigots in MA that I was blissfully unaware of as a kid. Shameful.
...
"Would you consider yourself a sub or a Dom?" "I have no idea what that is." "Ah. A sub then."
Dead..
why is nobody wearing a mask?
...
"Have you really got that flag on a hockey stick?" lol. This guy's pretty cold. There's a little bit of a Chris Eliot or Tom Green vibe but much sharper. Never not a fan of puncturing self-important gasbags.Very funny.
...
Playing the national anthem while saluting a corrupted US flag that represents cop worship. Ugh.

The worst intersection in Tauntonπ€¦π»ββοΈ this was hilarious
Attempted theft. Neat.

If we had like a dropkick pass, I'd use it on her for sure.

man i've been watching too much Your Mom's House b/c i immediately took this guy as a genuine boot licker, like the fetish boot licker people. this has a little bit of a different vibe. still neat though.
lmfao holy shit I have no idea who this is or what this is even fully about - but when the tony guy at the end is taping the flag to the pole and the dudes like "Youre a big guy you can do this you got this" "Shut the fuck up" "TONY! TONY! TONY!... Oh no he needs help"
I was dying laughing
...
"I love the way that hat covers your whole face." Lol.
tbh that cop, while showing how slow on the uptake he is, had a pretty good reaction to the joke
like, the exact reaction i wouldn't expect if it was a black guy making fun of him
It's more like he was using the cop to make fun of the demonstrators. His words were mocking the absurdity of the demonstrators, not the cops themselves
...
That cops reaction really was my favorite part lmao
